PRE-EMPTIVE & PRO-ACTIVE APPROACH
Even prior to a client engaging our search partners to deliver a search assignment, the KM team is engaged to help the Consultant develop a very clear understanding of an organization’s competitors, their financial positioning, organizational structure, strategic and operational issues, news coverage etc.

Our role is to arm Consultants with up-to-date and accurate information, and most importantly to identify talent to ensure positive outcomes.

The Consultant can then rely on this information to deliver a powerful proposal and presentation, and ensure the formulation of an appropriate search and selection strategy, tailored to the needs of a particular client.

MANDATE SUPPORT


Once a consultant has been retained by a client, the KM team's focus changes to the search for the successful individual. They are tasked with producing an exhaustive list of potential industry, organizational and individual targets for consideration utilizing market mapping, to ensure that an effective list identifying the right companies and individuals forms the core of the executive search.

  • This is drawn from a combination of sources;
  • The knowledge gained from previous searches, individuals.
  • Consultants’ expertise and feedback
  • The client's recommendations
  • Information from the web and the client’s database

Validation of information, namely key facts about candidates and their employers, is the responsibility of the KM team. Their role is to ensure that the Consultant, when managing the executive search, is empowered with a core of information to make a qualified approach to individuals.

The research team provides the consultant with a list of executive candidate biographies for analysis and an appropriate engagement strategy is applied according to the individuals named.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE


Our knowledge leaders consistently keep practices and search leaders up-to-date on key trends on focus sectors/industries in the marketplace. Further they support business development initiatives (proposal support, target list of prospect clients, etc.), industry and competitive research (trends, executive leadership changes, business news industries).

DATABASE MANAGEMENT


CAPTURING, DISTRIBUTING, RECYCLING AND EFFECTIVELY USING KNOWLEDGE

The database management team works very closely with consultants and the research team ensuring the information from candidates and insights are captured throughout the candidate management process within the search campaign and further utilized to empower the next search. The “recycling” element of information management is critical to build our clients expertise and position them appropriately in subsequent searches.
